Librest'te bir kusur bulundu. OAuth yetkilendirmesi için PKCE uygulaması, kriptografik açıdan güvenli olmayan bir sözde rastgele sayı oluşturucu olan GLib API'sinin GRand işlevini kullanır. Oluşturulan "kod doğrulayıcı" yeterli kriptografik entropiye sahip olmadığından, kötü niyetli bir aktör, tahmin etmek veya yeniden yapılandırmak için sözde rastgele sayı üretecinin (PRNG) çekirdeğini tersine mühendislikle çalıştırabilir.
